Cooper Dodds - About Me

Untitled photo

Cooper Dodds (b. 1990) is a photographer and book artist working within the documentary tradition. His unassuming mode of looking captures quiet details and spontaneous moments that could easily be left unseen.

Cooper received a B.F.A. with honors from Carleton College in 2013. His first monograph, Jumper: Flying in the Heartland, which chronicles the century-old tradition of American ski jumping in the rural Midwest, was published by Daylight Books in 2019. Cooper currently splits his time between New Hampshire, where he grew up, and New York City.
