Lisa Lacasse - About Me
I purchased my first DSLR in 2012 to take better photographs of my grandchildren. I loved learning and getting out of my comfort zone so that I could grow as a photographer. I was very quickly photographing flowers, landscapes, birds and everything nature has to offer. My favorite subject became landscapes, especially with any kind of moving water, but loons and other birds are a close second. In addition to my nature images, I feel privileged to photograph families as well. I love seeing the world through my lens, to capture that elusive moment in time. Passing along the emotion of being in that moment – whether it’s the wonder of witnessing an incredible sunrise or watching the ocean ebb and flow along the coast of Maine. I have been fortunate to visit many places with my camera, to create images that I hope make you reflect, smile, and connect with.
My Comments on Using the Leica IIIa
I love trying new things so was very excited to have the opportunity to use the Lecia IIIA. The first challenge was that Travis put in Black and White film. I don’t do a lot of B&W photography so 1st challenge accepted. Challenge #2, was deciding that I would only take 1 shot of each subject. I loved using this camera – It was a challenge but it was fun.
